Why would I not just hire a team or work with a freelancer?

Both of these options are perfectly reasonable, but they’re not right for every business.

Hiring a team capable of creating animated video means finding a unique blend of skills from script writing to illustration to animation, and that’s not always easy. It also adds to your fixed costs.

Working with freelancers tends to be the go-to option for businesses looking to rapidly scale production, but that’s not ideal either – it can be really difficult to find great people who are available, and affordable, at all times. Working with different freelancers creates difficulties around communication and consistency.

We find that many businesses prefer the low-risk, consistent and high-quality option of a subscription package with a consistent team.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, we offer the option for you to cancel your subscription or pause it at any time.

Do I own the rights to the videos created during my subscription?

Absolutely. You own your videos once they’re completed and signed off – and you also own the source files, which we can provide to you on request.

What types of videos can I request?

We specialise in 2D animated video production. You can check out our showreel or product pages to get an idea of what this entails. If you’re unsure and need further info around this question, feel free to get in touch!

Are there any limitations on the length or complexity of the videos I can request?

Typically, requests are limited to the types of video seen in our showreel and on our product pages, although we can discuss where your requirements go beyond this type of video on a case-by-case basis.

How do I submit my video requests?

We manage all projects in our custom built project management tool, Project.co. You can submit all requests into a backlog or you can add new requests as you have them. We’ll work on 1 video at a time or based on the number of videos at a time you have purchased a subscription for. We’ll communicate, share files and manage all video requests in Project.co. This means you’ll have direct access to our full team and we can all work async to create your videos quickly.

How long does it take to produce a video?

We work to fixed turnarounds, with a set number of working days for each step of our process. Of course, the exact turnaround is dependent on how quickly you’re able to provide feedback – and how many rounds of changes are required.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the initial draft of my video?

We offer unlimited revisions as part of our package, so don’t worry. We do ask for a firm sign off at the end of each stage of the process and, as long as your changes are within the scope of what’s been agreed along the way, we’ll make as many changes as necessary until you’re totally delighted with the end product.

Can I request multiple videos simultaneously?

Our standard package is for us to work on 1 video at a time. This means that when 1 video is finalised and signed off by you will will start on your next request. However, we do have the ability to increase the number of requests you can make and increase your monthly subscription accordingly.

Is there a limit to the number of revisions I can request for each video?

No, we offer unlimited revisions within the scope of what’s been agreed throughout the project. All we ask is a firm sign off at each stage so we can keep the project moving forward in the right direction and stay aligned on what’s required.

Do you offer discounts for long-term subscriptions?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount for a 6 monthly subscription and a 20% discount for a 12 monthly subscription.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription plan at any time?

Absolutely. You’re in control! If your production needs increase or decrease, you can tweak your plan accordingly.

How does billing work for the subscription service?

When you start your subscription you can pay by card using our payment provider Stripe. This is the most convenient way to manage the recurring payment and it means you get clear invoices for each payment you make. If you take a 6 or 12 monthly subscription then we are happy to provide an invoice for your team to pay.

What sets the subscription service apart from traditional pay-per-project options?

For teams serious about scaling their video output, a subscription service gives you massive benefits. Rather than paying per project, a monthly subscription gives you a simple, clear, fixed monthly price. This can represent a significant discount compared to one-off, per-project rates.

I just want to create one video, or work on one project at a time. Is that an option?

Absolutely. The bulk of our projects are completed this way and our process is perfectly set up to help you do exactly this. Fill out our pricing form and let us know what you need, and we’ll come back to you with some specifics.

What services are included in the subscription package?

Put simply, everything required to create great videos. We write your script, create all graphics from scratch, add motion, plus royalty free music and a professional voiceover track which you can choose from our roster of global talent.
