Livestorm Review 2024: Pricing, Features, and More!

Last updated 23rd July 2024

In this article we’re going to review Livestorm – taking into consideration pricing, features, and more – to see if it’s a tool that you need for your business in 2024.

When we asked almost 1,000 marketers about the most effective video marketing channels, you may be surprised to find that webinars came in 4th place. Only behind the likes of video content giants such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.

Unlike these three behemoth sites, webinars give you an opportunity to create a more personalised and interactive video experience for potential customers. And this can increase engagement, loyalty and trust.

But first, you need a reliable webinar platform. So let’s take a look at all things Livestorm to see if it could be the perfect tool for you!

TL;DR
Livestorm is a webinar and online meeting and events platform with built-in tools that can help you grow and better understand your audience.
Pros: 1. Tried & tested
2. Ease of use
3. Detailed analytics

Cons: 1. Screen sharing
2. Cost increases

What is Livestorm?

Livestorm is a webinar platform that allows users to create all different kinds of webinars, such as automated and on-demand webinars, as well as online events and meetings.

It has many built-in tools to help hosts better engage with their audience, like interactive polls and Q&A sessions, and it also makes it easy to gather audience insights that can be used to improve future webinar marketing efforts.

Who is Livestorm for?

Livestorm has over 5,000 customers worldwide and is utilised by a wide variety of different businesses and industries for varying reasons. Just some of the use cases for Livestorm include: product demos, internal company communication, customer training, employee training, and even online conferences and summits.

The platform caters for a wide range of businesses, from small businesses that expect around 30 attendees to huge enterprise businesses that require up to 3,000 attendees. Airtable, Sony, and Verizon are just a few of the businesses that trust and use Livestorm for their webinars and online events hosting.

Livestorm’s features

Livestorm boasts an array of impressive features for a variety of different use cases, all designed to enhance your webinar experience.

Let’s take a quick look at some of them…

1. Customisation

Livestorm allows you to customise everything from your registration pages to your room experience. You can customise your room design using plugins, and add your own branding to event assets, reminders, and follow up emails to create a better customer experience.

2. Automation

Automation features make it easy to set up recurring and on-demand events, so participants can join and watch your webinars at their convenience. Livestorm also gives users the ability to automatically record and save all events at no additional costs with unlimited cloud storage.

3. Engagement

Engagement is crucial for any webinar, and with Livestorm’s features you can generate tons of it! You can easily create Q&As, polls, and chats to encourage conversations. Plus, with file sharing and virtual whiteboards you can also collaborate visually with your attendees.

4. Analytics

Analytics are another key factor for any webinar tool and Livestorm doesn’t slack in this area either. Users get access to all of the data they could possibly need, such as attendance, engagement, conversions, and more.

5. Support

In addition to customer support from both AI and human reps, Livestorm also offers different types of support. Like dial-in support for attendees that are struggling to connect via the internet, and multi-language support, so you can attract a worldwide audience.

Livestorm’s pros & cons

Pros: Pro 1 – Tried & tested
There are some great stats out there that highlight the effectiveness of Livestorm as a webinar tool for businesses. For example, 80% of users report time savings after switching to Livestorm and 53% reported a higher attendance rate.
Pro 2 – Ease of use
Livestorm is known for its intuitive and easy-to-use interface. In addition, the platform offers a range of great interactive features that can enhance audience engagement.
Pro 3 – Detailed analytics
Livestorm provides hosts with valuable metrics and insights into things like attendee behaviour, engagement rates, and so much more.
Cons: Con 1 – Screen sharing
Some users have pointed out issues with screen sharing when it comes to sharing screens between several hosts.
Con 2 – Cost increases
The cost is largely based on attendee numbers so, depending on how many attendees you’re getting, it could end up being more expensive than you’d like.

Livestorm pricing

Livestorm has 4 plans: Free, Pro, Business, Enterprise.

The only plan that it’s easy to see the cost for is Pro, which starts at €79 per month for 100 live attendees, and of course Free – which is…free! If you want to sign up for the Business and Enterprise plans, you’ll need to contact their sales team.

But we’re getting ahead of ourselves here. Let’s take a look at each plan in more detail.

The Free plan allows users to get started straight away with no credit card required and no software to install. This is great if you’re only going to be holding sessions of up to 20 minutes for 30 members or less. One of the standout bonuses of the free plan (that not all other webinar platforms offer) is the ability to add an unlimited number of team members.

The Pro plan costs €79 per month for up to 100 live attendees and can be extended all the way up to 500 attendees (for €365 per month). Sessions can be much longer than on the free version – up to 4 hours long – and the Pro plan also comes with standard customer support.

The Business plan is for users who need to host sessions for more than 500 attendees. This plan also comes with VIP customer support, access to Livestorm Learning (which includes video tutorials and other valuable learning resources), plus the flexibility to go beyond your usage on occasion, if that’s something you require.

Lastly, we have the Enterprise plan. There’s actually no difference in the maximum number of live attendees between this and the Business plan – both are 3,000. However, Enterprise users can host sessions up to 12 hours long! And get a lot more support, such as enterprise onboarding and training, and a dedicated CSM.

Livestorm’s customer support

Livestorm has a lot of resources for supporting customers, starting with the help centre. Their help centre is intuitive and comprehensive. You have the option to scroll through different articles or search for your issue in the search bar at the top of the page.

Failing that, you can have a conversation with their AI-powered assistant. It isn’t as intuitive as say, Chat GPT, but it’s still a nice feature to have.

Of course, Livestorm also has a human support team that you can contact via email during business hours.

In addition to the help centre and AI chatbot, Livestorm also offers a lot of learning materials that can help users to better understand the software before they encounter a problem.

This is delivered in the form of a content library that’s easy to filter and navigate so you can find exactly what you’re looking for.

Livestorm: Final score

Our rating
