What is ClickMeeting?

ClickMeeting is a browser-based webinar software platform. This means it works on all devices and operating systems, making it extremely versatile. And, speaking of versatility, ClickMeeting isn’t just for webinars! You can also use the platform for product demos, online training sessions, and business meetings.

Who is ClickMeeting for?

ClickMeeting has a variety of different use cases, so it’s used by a variety of different people. First up, you have marketers and sales teams who want to use ClickMeeting’s webinar tools to help them engage more leads and sell more products.

Then there’s educators who want to use ClickMeeting to lead training sessions, regardless of where they are in the world.

Lastly, remote workers can use ClickMeeting for virtual business meetings and real-time collaboration.

Some of ClickMeeting’s biggest clients include the likes of Oxford University Press, Siemens, and Huawei. The reason for drawing such big clients could be the fact that ClickMeeting allows users to host online events for up to an incredible 10,000 people.

ClickMeeting’s features

ClickMeeting offers tons of features for different use cases and different teams. We recommend perusing their site to check them all out for yourself, but we also wanted to share our top 3 features with you here – in no particular order!

1. Breakout rooms

If you’re planning on running webinars with large audiences, particularly training sessions and online summits or events, then breakout rooms can help you take engagement to the next level.

With ClickMeeting’s breakout rooms feature, you can distribute as many as 800 attendees into 20 breakout rooms – meaning you can have up to 40 people comfortably interacting in each breakout room, complete with full audio and video and interactive features.

All you need to do is set a duration time, add your attendees, set permissions and you’re good to go!

2. Engagement tools

ClickMeeting is bursting with engagement tools that can help you to get your message across in an interactive and memorable way. You can share your screen to use visuals to back up your words or switch to whiteboard mode so you can visualise your ideas in real time and collaborate with attendees.

You can also use polls and surveys to gather feedback in real time. You can choose from single-choice, multiple-choice, or open questions and then choose to display results with your attendees to spark conversation or analyse them later and share with your attendees in a follow-up email.

3. Automation

Creating and running webinars is a tiring and never-ending task, and that’s where automation tools can help. With ClickMeeting, you can use your webinars again and again, to engage leads at any time – day or night. Yes, even while you sleep!

There’s no need to supervise your automated webinars, just schedule it and let it run on autopilot. You can also adjust the chat functionality to allow people to still ask questions that you can respond to at a later date.

ClickMeeting’s Pros & Cons

Pros: 1. Versatility
You can access and use ClickMeeting from any device. On top of that, the platform can be used for many different purposes and in different ways. For webinars alone, you can host live webinars, automated webinars, on-demand webinars, and recurring webinars.
2. User-friendly interface
ClickMeeting’s interface is intuitive and user-friendly, not only making it easy for you to get started as a host but also making it easy for participants to navigate.
3. Robust analytics
It’s important for your webinar platform to give you robust reporting and analytics tools so that you can analyse your progress and measure your success. ClickMeeting comes through in this area.
Cons: 1. Latency issues
While it’s not something we’ve experienced first-hand, some users on review sites like G2 and Capterra have mentioned latency issues. This could be related to the fact that ClickMeeting is browser-based, so having a good connection is important.
2. Limited customisation
If you want complete control over communication aesthetics then you might find ClickMeeting a little lacking. While custom branding is available, there are limits to how much you can tailor the visual experience.

ClickMeeting Pricing

ClickMeeting’s pricing is split into 3 categories: Live, Automated, and Custom. The cost of each plan depends on how many attendees you want to cater for. A slider on the website lets you select anything from 10 to 900 attendees.

At first glance, it appears that ClickMeeting actually has 4 pricing plans. But the ‘free’ plan is a free 30 day trial. It allows users to invite up to 25 attendees to an unlimited number of live, automated, and on-demand webinars. And also allows newcomers to test out some of the features and services that would be available under the Live and Automated plans.

The Live plan is the least expensive, starting at £20 for 10 attendees and 3 users. You can host an unlimited number of webinars, like on all plans. But Live is limited to 6 hours of recording storage and 1GB of file storage. You get access to all of the engagement tools, integrations and reporting, but none of the automation tools.

This brings us onto the Automated plan. This offers users everything they can find in the Live plan, plus automation tools. It’s highlighted by ClickMeeting as the most popular plan and it starts from £30 per month for 10 attendees and 3 users.

The Custom plan is built for teams that need a little extra. Straight off the bat, you can have 5 multi-users and also 4 presenters (whereas all other plans only offer 1). This plan is perfect for companies that require a scalable solution. If you’re hoping to host one of those huge virtual events for up to 10,000 people, this is the plan you need. Pricing isn’t available online so you’ll have to reach out to ClickMeeting directly to find out more.

ClickMeeting’s Customer Support

ClickMeeting’s customer support covers all bases and makes it easy to find answers to any questions you might have about the platform. From the Help Centre, you can troubleshoot issues in real time with a chatbot:

You can also search the knowledge base that’s filled with helpful articles and split into sections that are easy to navigate:

For more general help with getting started and ensuring you get the best from ClickMeeting, you can visit the ClickMeeting Academy.

This is set up in a similar way to the knowledge base, but includes helpful eBooks, infographics, and other content to assist you.

Of course, you can also contact their customer service team directly. This isn’t super easy to find as it’s not in the Help Centre. You need to navigate to ‘Contact Us’ and you’ll find the support email address there.

Lastly – and a nice added touch, we think! – there’s a status page that all users are free to subscribe to. This gives you immediate information about the current operation of ClickMeeting:

So you can keep up to date with any active incidents and change plans accordingly, if required.

ClickMeeting: Final score

Our rating
There’s honestly so much to say about ClickMeeting that we simply couldn’t cover it all. For example, the easy integration with tons of tools like Stripe, PayPal, and Hubspot. Plus, the DevZone, where you can find API resources to further personalise your experience.
